Tailing state — whether a recording's files are still being written.

LivenessState	The server's verdict on whether a recording is still growing.
TailingState	Whether a dataset's recording is still growing, and the extent available at call time.

LivenessState

Bases: IntEnum

The server's verdict on whether a recording is still growing.

ATTRIBUTE	DESCRIPTION
UNKNOWN	Not determinable, for example because the file type does not support live monitoring.
LIVE	The recording is actively being written.
IDLE	The recording is not growing: recording has finished, or the data file has not changed for 30 s.

TailingState

Bases: BaseModel

Whether a dataset's recording is still growing, and the extent available at call time.

ATTRIBUTE	DESCRIPTION
dataset_id	Dataset the verdict applies to. TYPE: str
liveness	Whether the recording is still growing. TYPE: LivenessState
available_time_range	Full time range of data present in the recording when the call was answered. Always populated: it grows while LIVE and holds the final extent once IDLE. TYPE: TimeRange

is_live property

is_live: bool

True unless the verdict is IDLE.

UNKNOWN counts as live because an active recording can't be ruled out, but the server's KPI results follow new data only while the verdict is LIVE.
